Carat Perth Names Two New Client Partners

Carat Perth managing director Jim Groves today announced new additions to his leadership team, following strong revenue growth in the second half.

Shaun De Souza (right in lead image) joins Carat as client partner from Southern Cross Austero where he was
the head of direct sales. De Souza was previously with Marketforce’s leading client service teams on HBF, General & Life Insurance brands and iiNet. He also spent time with Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore, working on the Lexus Regional client servicing team.

Carat Perth has also appointed Cameron Mack (left in lead image) as client partner. Mack has previously worked as the strategic communications lead at Initiative Perth, providing client management across the WA State Government portfolios, NGO’s such as Mental Health Commission & Cancer Council and premium brand sectors including retail, tourism, and land development. Cam has also extensive experience in handling Brand building efforts, Content/Category Management initiatives, New Business Development activities, Vendor management and Client Relationship Management at prior organisations – Initiative (Perth), OMD WA, Starcom Brisbane and Meerkats.

Jim Groves said: “We are delighted to welcome Shaun and Cam to our leadership team. It is a particularly challenging time for clients now as many of the perceived certainties of the last few years are being reconsidered in the light of economic conditions, changes in the media landscape, reprioritisation of performance and brand investment funds. All of this requires clients having access to experienced media and communications professionals who can provide a balanced assessment of options and ways forward for our clients and prospects.”
