Greg suffers from middle child syndrome and red hair. Forgotten by his parents, he’s been working extra hard to make a name for himself in the advertising world.
His first course of action was graduating in 2006 from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Arts, Communications Advertising and a Diploma of Marketing Communications. But Greg knew a man was not made in the classroom. So he saved up working as a ship builder and headed out on a journey to North America. Along the way he worked at a water sports camp in Vancouver and risked his life in an un-roadworthy van touring the highways of the USA.
With his new knowledge of the world, he joined BMF’s print department in 2007. Greg’s true passion for film and video was soon detected and with the help of a High Distinction at Australian Advertising Federation’s TV Producer course he worked his way into the TV department. The last 6 years has seen Greg produce jobs for every client group in the agency’s roster, most recently for LION Nathan, MLA, Expedia and P&O. Greg prides himself in his ability to manage time sensitive projects without compromising creative and production quality.
Working with some of the biggest brands in the advertising game, Greg peddled his wares for the good people at Saatchi and Saatchi for 16 months. Projects for Client’s such as; Toyota, Cadbury, Luxotica, St.george and nib kept my ongoing desire to become a world class Producer alive and well.
The offer to work for one of Australia’s fastest growing Production Companies was an opportunity too good to refuse. Developing a deeper understanding of the process of budgeting large scale productions has been a thoroughly enjoyable and rewarding experience.
His parents are now very proud of him.
(Small update.. Greg is now helping the very talented people at BLOCKHEAD vfx set up and run a Sydney Office. His parents no longer understand what he does).
