Big Mobile has launched a range of creative new high impact display advertising formats specifically designed for smartphone and tablet.

Developed by Big Mobile’s UX team the new suite of next gen advertising products provide a creative canvas for advertisers to create rich story-telling brand building experiences and have been designed to leverage the unique interactive characteristics of mobile.

Examples of the new products include:

  • The CubeTM: This 3D rich ad unit gives marketers a 6 sided story-telling canvas which users are able to spin 360 degrees on a centered axis.
  • The Video LoopTM: The Video Loop allows marketers to communicate a stronger message before the click with clever video optimization for smart devices.
  • Sliding DoorsTM: This next gen format offers a new sliding door mechanic for opening expandable banners to create visual impact.
  • The Big OTPTM: The new Big OTP network allows marketers to access over 1.3 million weekly unique browsers across Australia. Although not a new mobile format, Big Mobile worked with their UX team and premium publishers to develop a UX led next generation product to ensure the best user experience.

The new ad suite builds on Big Mobile’s premium mobile ad products giving brands high impact formats for brand building campaigns with reach. Brand building was rated as the top mobile advertising objective amongst buyers (82%) in the recent IAB Australia Mobile Landscape Study.

Graham Christie, chief commercial officer and partner at Big Mobile said: “We’re continuing to work closely with our premium publishers to drive innovation into mobile advertising and build premium creative advertising products. Big Mobile have built testing environments across all our premium publishers to allow us to effectively research and develop new innovative formats delivering these products easily at scale.

“This is a superb opportunity for brands to inhabit these pioneering digital environments and do so harnessing our world-class creative solution suite.”

Big Mobile’s premium publisher network continues to grow with their recent exclusive partnership with Pandora Internet Radio and a new premium publisher SBS.
