Animal From The Muppets Brilliantly Shreds Quirky Insurance Spot

Let’s face it, being able to bundle your home and car insurance into one package isn’t terribly exciting. However, with the simple addition of a Muppet, the idea goes to a whole other level.

Brilliantly, someone at American insurer Geico has decided to enlist none other than Animal, the drummer from The Muppets’ band Electric Mayhem, to add some wonderful anarchy into its latest campaign that would’ve otherwise been a pretty colourless affair.

Called “There’s An Animal In The Attic”, the spot’s the work of Virginia-based creative agency The Martin Agency and sees the pink-haired grunter wreak havoc on a lovely, if not slightly boring, couple.

It’s terrific fun, although Animal may not be that well known to anyone under about 35. But then maybe people under 35 are less interested in bundling their house and car insurance? Check out the raucous action below:
