The ABC’s flagship discussion panel program, Q&A, has been announced as the headline act for the radio industry’s national conference, Radio Alive 2017, in Melbourne on Friday 13 October.
Two-time Walkley award winner and ABC News Breakfast co-host Virginia Trioli will host the panel, with guests to include Communications Minister Mitch Fifield and ABC managing director Michelle Guthrie. Other key panellists will be announced over the coming weeks.
Joan Warner, chief executive of Commercial Radio Australia, said: “Q&A is driven by interaction, and the radio industry is all about interaction with the audience, so we’re looking forward to a stimulating and robust discussion panel that will discuss not just media-related issues, but a number of wide-ranging topics that our attendees will be asking the panel.”
