XXXX supports QLD floods with island auction

XXXX Gold is auctioning off a trip to XXXX Island through Ebay to help raise funds for the Queensland Floods Appeal.

The trip for 24 people is valued at $60,000 and includes a weekend on the Southern Great Barrier Reef with creature comforts like a fishing shack, a footy shack, a campground, a man-cave filled with games and keg cookers.

Jack Mesley, XXXX GOLD marketing manager said: “For those most affected, accessing funds to be able to clean up and rebuild their lives is vital.

“We’ve been asked time and time again if you can buy a trip to XXXX Island. Now you can and by doing so, you’ll be helping raise much-needed funds for Queenslanders who really need a helping hand.”

Currently, the only way people can secure a spot on XXXX Island is by winning a trip through various promotions.

In addition to this eBay auction, XXXX has also donated $50,000 directly to the Queensland Floods Appeal 2013 and is currently planning a variety of initiatives to help out local communities across Queensland.

The auction will begin at 1pm on Friday 15 February, with bids beginning at $24,000. Interested bidders can visit http://stores.ebay.com.au/indemand-causes/XXXXIslandAuction for more information.
