My Kitchen Rules was feeling the love as 1.886 million people tuned into the cooking competition on Valentine’s Day last night.
The Block: All Stars wasn’t as successful in wooing viewers as only 842,000 people tuned into the program according to OzTam’s overnight metro ratings.
The premiere of the ABC’s four-part series Making Couples Happy claimed an audience of 511,000 viewers on a strong night for the ABC with a total of seven shows in the top 20.
The ABC’s 12.1% share of all free-to-air viewers was healthier than Ten’s result of 9.8% with the commercial claiming only two in the top 20 overall with Ten News at Five (619,000) and The Project (417,000).
Home and Away sat in fifth place with 880,000 viewers while Seven's Bones was in ninth with 638,000.
The new-look Today Tonight had an audience of 886,000 beat competitor A Current Affair which won 870,000 viewers for Nine.
Nine News did win the news war thought with 1.078 million viewers ahead of Seven News’ 988,000.
Seven won the evening with a 27.6% share of viewers ahead on Nine’s 19.1% share and SBS’ 5.3%.
