After debuting on Sunday evening with 815,000 viewers, Ten’s newest incarnation of The Biggest Loser fell to 19th place last night luring an audience of only 597,000.

The Biggest Loser Next Generation sat below Nine’s Two and a Half Men and below Ten News at Five, according to OzTam's free-to-air metro overnight rankings.

Otherwise, Monday night ratings showcased little surprises, with Seven’s My Kitchen Rules powering to top spot with 1.7 million viewers.

Nine’s The Block: All Stars won second spot taking 1.4 million, while Seven News (1.17 million) just pipped Revenge, the latter of which scored 1.157 million.

Nine News and Today Tonight also scored over a million viewers each, while Nine’s A Current Affair just missed out on 974,000.

ABC News, Seven’s Home and Away and Nine’s The Big Bang Theory (repeat episode) also made it into the top ten shows of the evening.

Outside the top ten, 621,000 viewers watched Two and a Half Men which slid into 18th spot on Channel Nine, Ten News at Five pulled 670,000 and another repeat of The Big Bang Theory (Nine) won 828,000.

The rest of the top 20 was filled by programs on ABC1, including Australian Story, 7:30, Four Corners, Media Watch and Q&A.

Seven won the largest share of audience, taking 34.1% while Nine came in second on 27.2%. The ABC won 19.7% while Ten pulled 15.4%. SBS took 3.6%.
