Urban Purveyor Group has appointed PPR as its national PR and communications agency, effective immediately.
Urban Purveyor Group’s dining and entertainment brands currently include Saké Restaurant & Bar, Ananas Bar & Brasserie, The Cut Bar & Grill, Munich Brauhaus, Bavarian Bier Café, The Argyle, Urban Events Venues & Catering, the newly acquired Fratelli Fresh, and the soon to open El Camino Cantina, The Alfred, Saké Jr. and Saké Live.
With many new venues and concepts in development, Urban Purveyor Group plans to double in size in the next 24 months.
The appointment will see PPR roll out integrated communications campaigns across the country, initially focusing on the Urban Purveyor Group’s Eastern Seaboard locations.
Urban Purveyor Group’s chief executive officer Thomas Pash said, “To be in partnership with PPR is a natural step in growing Urban Purveyor Group across Australia. We were drawn to their creative and innovative approach, streamlined processes, extensive experience as well as their unique national footprint.
“We knew that the partnership would be a great fit for us as we grow into various markets and that they would be able to provide us with on-ground support.”
PPR’s chief operating officer, Michael Pooley said, “With its fresh and bold take on the dining and entertainment industry, Urban Purveyor Group is poised to continue to grow at an accelerated rate and we are thrilled to be a part of this journey with them.
“Proudly Australian born and bred 45 years ago, PPR fast became, and remain, Australia’s only truly national agency with owned offices in each state. This means that brands that want to truly connect with every Australian across this vast, geographically spread country choose us.
“Our goal is to achieve real, measurable change that positively impacts Urban Purveyor Group through creative, compelling marketing communications and we are confident that we will drive this for them.”
