Close to 18 years ago Emma Triggs founded M Advertising, a media buying agency catering to the Entertainment market. Today the agency relaunches as The M Agency – The Entertainment Experts, to more accurately reflect what they do, their leadership position in all things Entertainment and to continue to shape the way Entertainment is marketed and aligned with other brands.

“We have created an agency to deliver what our clients need to meet their business objectives. It’s a very complex category and each project has a unique set of challenges. You need specialized experience to get it right, including sophisticated targeting for Entertainment audiences. And the ability to deliver campaigns against tight deadlines with regular movement, normally 24-48 hours, is mandatory”, Triggs said.

M also announced today the bolstering of the M management team, with Emma’s brother Tim Triggs returning to the agency as Partner, head of digital.

Triggs previously spent nine years at the agency from 2002. Since then Triggs has been steeped in the digital media world on the sales side as strategy and site sales manager at News Digital Media, at Perform Sports Media Group as head of sales production and partnerships, and most recently was digital director at The Media Store, one of Australia’s leading independent media agencies.

“Tim’s hire shows the agency’s commitment to leading the market in the field of Digital. We’re on a roll and Tim is the perfect person to work with me on our exciting growth and expansion plans,” Triggs said.

“I’m really excited to be back working with Emma and the M clients again. The business has been going from strength to strength and I’m happy to be part of it. I see amazing potential in the work we’re doing developing new offerings in the digital space for Entertainment clients as well as brands wanting to be in that space,” Triggs added.

M has created thousands of campaigns over the years, for all types of Entertainment, including live tours for P!nk, AC/DC, Coldplay, Beyonce, Prince, Madonna, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John and Robbie Williams. They have created campaigns for some of the most popular albums including all of Adele’s releases, Sia, Rod Stewart, You Am I, Usher, John Farnham, Guy Sebastian and even Elvis Presley.

M has been lucky enough to work with some of the biggest brands in family entertainment including Disney, Sesame Street, The Wiggles, Hi-5, Giggle & Hoot and Mister Maker. It would be impossible to name them all but they have also worked with Theatre, Film, DVD, Gaming, Festivals, Arts, Exhibitions, Comedy and Sport.

Staff numbers at The M Agency have grown by 50 per cent over the last six-eight months and next month the agency will move to new offices in North Sydney.

Over the next few months the agency will be announcing its new offerings in the digital space – across Australia, New Zealand and the Asian market.
