Beauty brand Revlon Professional has launched a brand campaign – “Live Life in Full Colour”, bringing its Live Boldly, Create Boldly platform to life.

In a mission to inspire Australians to live their lives in full colour, Revlon Professional and Red Havas explored the world of colour through the eyes of creative colourist and multi-award-winning hairstylist, Yoshi Su, as he searches for inspiration to create three avant-garde hairstyles. He meets TV host, author, DJ and colour enthusiast, Flex Mami, who shares insights into how she uses colour to express herself and create her work.

In the feature video, Flex explains how she uses colour to fuel her work and her persona. She refers to her style as “Clean Maximalism” – bold and chaotic while simultaneously being cohesive and intentional, with colour blocking at the heart of it.

The film and still photography reveal how colours intertwine into our lives, with three distinct angles: colours as self-expression, the craft of colour and colour and mood, all of which translate through Yoshi’s masterpieces.

Cristobal de la Rubia, Marketing Director at Revlon Professional Australia, said: “I hope that this campaign motivates viewers to ‘Live Life in Full Colour’. Revlon Professional continuously prioritises creativity and encourages you to experiment with colour. Our Live Boldly, Create Boldly platform has certainly been brought to life!”

Lynn Chinnock, Managing Partner at Red Havas Melbourne, added “…we were thrilled to partner with Revlon Professional in this inspiring campaign that stretches our imagination of the possibilities colour can have in our lives.”

Tom Manning, Senior Creative of Red Havas said: “The campaign explores what it means to live a colourful life. Creative people need to be immersed in a world that feels vibrant and diverse, because that’s the source of inspiration. It was the contrasting personalities of Yoshi and Flex which sparked the creative fireworks and led to such exciting final looks.”

The campaign will be amplified through paid media partnerships, PR, social media and digital. Click here to watch the full video and photography.
