Australian-owned aerial media and experiential company Remarkable Media has announced it has signed an agreement with US broadcaster ABC for exclusive use of its aerial marketing solutions.
The deal with ABC’s regional sports and entertainment sales team – a division of ABC national TV sales – will see Remarkable Media’s technology made available to ABC’s advertising clients across the US.
Remarkable Media specialises in custom drone activations, helicopter banners, custom skydiving stunts, aerobatics, branded blimps, hot air balloons, helicopters, sky writing, aerial film and photography.
The first products set to be released in North America will reinvigorate the aerial experience genre, combining augmented reality tech and live projection mapping in the sky.
Remarkable Media co-founder and chief technical officer Ryan Osbourne said the company was excited to combine its technology and passion with the team at ABC.
“The mutual sense of excitement between our companies is electric as we now begin to offer these incredible, ground-breaking technologies and proprietary data metrics to ABC and their clients,” he said.
Vincent Sollecito president of national TV sales at ABC, said: Remarkable Media’s disruptive technologies will amplify media buys and offer “big, bold impact that is unparalleled in the industry”.
In August last year, Remarkable Media achieved a Guinness World Record after partnering with MTV to fly the world’s largest flying digital video screen to celebrate the MTV Video Music Awards in New York.
