Landor Associates and PPR will be working to establish the American Chamber Of Commerce in Australia (AmCham) as the number one place for all things related to Australian and US business relationships.

This comes after partnering together to support the major rebrand of Australia’s largest international Chamber of Commerce.

The project will work to position AmCham as the pre-eminent international business organisation in Australia, integral to facilitating the advancement of Australian business communities. Niels Marquardt, American Chamber of Commerce in Australia CEO, said it was vital to refresh the brand and showcase the value it can provide its members.

“We needed to reframe perceptions of the organisation in the eyes of our members and the broader Australian business community. We wanted to reinforce AmCham as a dynamic organisation that provides access to opportunity for our members,” said Marquardt.

Dominic Walsh, managing director of Landor Associates Sydney, continued; “After much research from our team at Landor, it became evident AmCham needed to differentiate and increase momentum to stay in a leadership position. We needed to highlight the organisation as a hub for intelligence and relationships that provide sustained commercial outcomes for its members.”

The project will work to further strengthen the partnership between Landor Associates, a leading global brand consulting firm, and PPR, an award winning public relations agency. Michael Pooley, director of strategy & planning and general manager of PPR Sydney, is pleased to again be partnering with Landor Associates in telling AmCham’s compelling story to Australian businesses.

“AmCham is an organisation that gives real benefit to its members. It provides access to thought leadership, communities of interest, policy advice, advocacy, information, and relationships. It offers members a competitive advantage to efficiently and intelligently grow their business,” Pooley added.

Mr Marquardt emphasised the synergy with both agencies, making note of the relevance AmCham has to both Landor Associates and PPR.

“Landor Associates is a US based business finding success in Australia, while PPR is an Australian business expanding into the US market. Both agencies represent what we are all about; building foundations for stronger US and Australian commercial partnerships,” Marquardt concluded.
