Is there anything more seductive than a hot, salty, greasy barbecued chook from Woolies?

And a new video has gone viral after a Woolworths’ customer was seen camped out at her local supermarket waiting for the first chicken to arrive.

The video was shot by a Woolies’ shopper at an unidentified store location reported to be in the Northern Territory.

Even better, the TikTok video is set to the Mission Impossible theme song and sees the hungry shopper camped out at Woolworths’ barbecue chicken section on a foldout chair waiting to snare the first of the day’s greasy birds.

Check out the action below:

Video of the woman soon went viral and social media pundits appeared to applaud the woman’s efforts.

“I love the stealth spy moves and music it took to make this masterpiece,” a bemused TikTok user wrote.

“She’s in survival mode for sure,” added another. While another posted: “Ready to go to war for the first chicken.”

“Who knew buying hot chickens was a competitive sport,” another user wrote.

“We had roads cut off and tracks flooding and we still don’t have people brining in chairs for chooks,” posted a woman from the Northern Territory.

The whole thing certainly reminds B&T of one of our favourite Woolworths’ moments of late – women fighting over lavatory rolls during the height of the COVID pandemic in 2020. Relive the wonderful moment in human history here:
