OMD has appointed Mat Rawnsley to the role of group strategy head for OMD Sydney.
Mat joins from The Monkeys where he spent three and a half years leading media and channel planning, including the media strategy/planning/buying on Boost Mobile’s Stay Living campaign which won three awards including the Grand Prix at the MFA awards.
Mat’s 20+ year’s industry experience encompasses multiple roles across both creative and media including a number of years with the Omnicom group (across OMD, DDB and Clemenger BBDO), his position as media director at kwp!, and communications director at Naked. Mat’s addition to the team represents an increased focus on expanding and elevating OMD’s strategic product across Tourism Australia and other key clients.
