Lego Masters returned to Nine with 838,000 metro viewers last night, as per OzTAM’s figures. Masterchef also had a solid premiere at 670, 000, but it wasn’t quite enough to beat Lego.

We’ll be keeping a keen eye on whether the Hamish Blake-fronted Lego Masters will build on its numbers, and if Masterchef will rise to the top like a triumphant souffle.

Top overall was Seven News with 1,047,000 viewers while Nine News had 981,000.

A Current Affair had 769,000 viewers, beating ABC News which had 677,000.

For Seven, Dancing With The Stars: All Stars saw Matty J and Tom Williams exit the show after a marathon dance off. The show had 644,000 viewers, while Home And Away had 624,000 and The Chase had 535,000.

At Nine, Hot Seat had 473,000 viewers while Law & Order: Organised Crime had 341,000.

Over at the ABC, 7.30 had 537,000 viewers, Australian Story had 495,000, Four Corners had 494,000 and Media Watch had 468,000.

10’s The Project had 517,000 viewers and 10 News First had 349,000.

Nine (all channels) came top of the daily share with 28 per cent, followed closely by Seven (all channels) at 26 per cent. Next was Network 10 with 21 per cent of the share, followed by the ABC Network with 16 per cent and SBS Network with seven per cent.
