Mindshare’s co-creation team is returning to Vivid Sydney, held from 22 May to 8 June, to partner with creative entrepreneurs and turn their ideas into action through a newly launched mentorship program.
The team of Adam Ross, Sam Turley and Jason Maggs will create the “Ideas Brewery”, a dedicated and interactive area at the REMIX Summit in Sydney’s Town Hall, part of Vivid Sydney, with the aim of turning all the inspiration and energy from the event into action.
As part of the Ideas Brewery, Mindshare has teamed up with the ABC to invite creative entrepreneurs to submit ideas that will shake up the way people experience arts and culture in Australia. Ideas can be submitted to the ABC Radio National microsite from 1 to 17 May.
The call-out for ideas will be promoted via ABC RN, REMIX and via Mindshare-owned channels. Entrants will be given the opportunity to present their idea on the main stage at REMIX before moving into the Ideas Brewery, where Mindshare will facilitate a workshop to help develop it further.
The originator of the winning idea will score a spot in the agency’s newly launched three-month Mentoring Program with the goal of Mindshare helping them turn their idea into action.
The winner will be announced on 25 May.
Mindshare CEO Katie Rigg-Smith said: “Innovation and creativity is a key driver of our business success and we are thrilled to be part of a programme that gives a platform to support the creative entrepreneurs of the future. I can’t wait to see what brilliant ideas the guys help bring to life at REMIX”.
This is the second year Mindshare’s Co-Creation team has taken a starring role at Vivid Sydney, with the team last year hosting the Ideas Lounge, helping the audience identify their business challenges before solving them with a bespoke idea.
