male newsreaders in Afghanistan are protesting by wearing masks after the Taliban ruled women must cover their faces on television.
Initially, some female television personalities held out and refused to wear masks, however as pressure has mounted most women have covered up by Sunday night.
However, Sebghat Sepehr at TOLOnews stood in solidarity with his female colleagues and was spotted wearing a mask on-air while delivering the news .
His bravery has since led to even more men coming out in support.
