Digital marketing agency Tug has been appointed by LawConnect to manage social media during the Rolex Sydney to Hobart yacht race.
This move comes in the wake of LawConnect’s sponsorship of Christian Beck’s supermaxi that’s entered in this year’s race.
Tug has been appointed to drive consumer awareness of LawConnect across digital channels including content creation, organic and paid social strategy and creative, as well as the relaunch of LawConnect across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn and PPC.
LawConnect owner, Christian Beck, a leading Australian technology entrepreneur and avid sailor will captain the LawConnect supermaxi at this year’s Rolex Sydney Hobart. Tug will work closely with the crew to bring their experiences to life for a global audience across social platforms, from its offices in Sydney, London and Toronto.
Alexandra Steadman, global CMO of LawConnect and the LEAP Group of companies said, “Having worked with Tug previously, they are best placed to lead the digital marketing for LawConnect as we look to drive consumer awareness and education.”
“They have demonstrated a strong understanding of our business, its objectives and how to realise them, and I look forward to partnering with them once more.”
LawConnect is the latest in a series of new business wins for Tug in recent months.
In September it was appointed by global restaurant booking platform Dish Cult for SEO across key marketing including Australia, New Zealand and UK.
Last month it renewed and expanded its remit with Budget Direct Singapore and EasyCompare Thailand.
Charlie Bacon, client service director at Tug added, “In addition to our ongoing work, we look forward to ensuring the brand features prominently across social media during the Rolex Sydney Hobart yacht race and have already developed some innovative content concepts that we can’t wait to bring to life.”
Tug is a specialist in performance media and uses data, media, content and technology to optimise the digital marketing performance and return on investment for its clients including WWF, Budget Direct, NobleOak, Compare the Market, GenesisCare and DHL.
