Kyle Sandilands Reveals He Turned Down $1.4 Million To Appear On 10’s ‘I’m A Celeb…’

Radio shock jock Kyle Sandilands, who just celebrated his 50th Birthday, has revealed he turned down a huge pay day to appear on Network 10’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here.

Sandilands recently appeared on ex Sunrise host Samantha Armytage’s podcast Something To Talk About, where he revealed he was asked to do the show but turned it out down.

“Like ‘do you want to go and sit in the jungle for three weeks with Casey Donovan and eat worms?’,” he said.

Sandilands said 10 originally offered him $1.4 million dollars. However, he still declined to do the reality show.

“I said no, and then they gave Warnie two million, and I thought, ‘f*** you forever’.”

The controversial radio host, who has previously been a judge on Australian Idol and X-Factor, claimed he didn’t do television much anymore because he doesn’t like the editing process and prefers live radio.

Sandilands is believed to be the highest-paid radio host in Australia at the moment, even after taking a 10 per cent pay cut due to COVID.
