J. Walter Thompson Snares AWARD School’s Top Melbourne Student

It has been a big week for Phoebe Sloane, taking out top spot at AWARD School’s Melbourne graduation last Thursday night and winning the prize for the live brief assignment.

As the Melbourne winner, Sloane now has a chance to win the national prize – a trip to Facebook headquarters in the US.

And to top it all off, she’s joining J. Walter Thompson Melbourne as a creative to team up with Ruby Boynton-Boardman.

Sloane graduated RMIT last year and, shortly afterward, was accepted into the MADC Wunderkind program, teaming up with a senior industry mentor for three months. She’s been working at The Sphere Agency for most of this year.

Boynton-Boardman has been with JWT as a creative for one year now. Also a graduate of RMIT, she has her own jewellery design company on the side and a finger in many creative pies outside of advertising.

Sloane and Boynton-Boardman will report to JWT Melbourne creative director Annie Price and executive creative director Kieran Antill.
