Growth and performance agency Intender has signed eight clients in the past six months, as demand grows for its symptoms and intent-based approach to customer growth.
The new accounts are Fabulate, Shooting Star Media, Tiny Souls Media, Kave Home, Motoserve, FCX, Baseline and Communal Group.
They span a range of categories, with each engaging Intender for specialist services across the customer journey. Services include content marketing, SEO and GEO, helping clients strengthen their visibility across traditional search and emerging AI platforms.
This latest spate of growth follows Intender’s expansion beyond its Noosa base a year ago, when it opened a Melbourne office after winning Griffon Australasia (formerly AMES Australasia) and its portfolio of home improvement FMCG brands, including Hills, Cyclone, Pope, Nylex and Northcote Pottery.
At the heart of the agency’s approach is its i4 Framework, which recognises that consumers need different kinds of engagement depending on where they are in their journey: Intent, Interest, Inspiration and Intelligence.
Rather than treating media as a single funnel, Intender uses the framework to identify where current demand exists, where it is emerging and where media investment can create future demand for enterprise-level and growing brands.
Intender CEO Phil Ohren said the agency’s recent growth reflected increasing demand from clients looking for a more strategic approach to performance and growth.
“Clients are looking for more than media delivery,” he said. “They want to understand where their next customers are coming from, where demand is building and how to turn that into sustainable growth.
“That’s what Intender is built to do. Our i4 Framework gives us a simple way to understand people at different stages of their journey and create the right conversation at the right moment. It allows brands to see current demand and understand where to create future demand. We’re excited by the level of demand we’re seeing and by the opportunity to help more businesses own their category, build their pipeline of future intenders and protect long-term growth.”
Zoe Young, GM of Intender, added: “Eight years since launching Intender, we’ve really solidified what we stand for and, importantly, what works. We’ve refined our approach, built out our specialist services, developed an AI-native process and established a strong body of work that demonstrates the impact we can create for clients.
“Our new clients are buying into that experience – a trusted, proven approach that has delivered results for almost a decade. It’s a great position to be in, and we’re really excited about what comes next.”
