Indie Agency SOCIETY Unveils New Staff Mental & Physical Health Program

Independent creative agency SOCIETY has announced an innovative new program designed to support the mental and physical health and wellbeing of their staff.

The program, called SOCIETY Residents, includes a group of experts and friends of SOCIETY who will support SOCIETY citizens; by providing counsel and information on their area of expertise.

SOCIETY Residents will see friends of SOCIETY engaged to provide counsel to the SOCIETY team and clients (citizens) on key topics that have a direct impact on the positive outcomes of how we live, work and play in society.

SOCIETY Founder and CEO, Dena Vassallo (lead image), explained; “SOCIETY believes that in today’s intergenerational workforce, who you spend your time with everyday is more important than ever.

“The aim is to not only provide exceptional career pathways at SOCIETY, but to also provide a wrap around offering to support the whole person, building on the company’s ethos of being ‘people-first.’”

SOCIETY has already secured two Residents for the program, Dr. Troye Wallett; physician, health coach, founder, and director of health service Octagen, and Madhavi Nawana Parker; author, mentor, and director of Positive Minds Australia.

“Troye and Madhavi are proven experts in their respective fields. Knowing we wanted to build the SOCIETY Residents program on a foundation of health and wellbeing, I couldn’t go past Troye for his focus on high-performance health and longevity, and Madhavi for her work in resilience, relationships and mental health,” continued Vassallo.

While the first SOCIETY Residents will focus on mental and physical health and wellbeing as a priority,  SOCIETY plans to expand the program to include Residents from a variety of backgrounds and fields.

“We want our team to have a highly valuable bank of information they can tap into, to help them positively influence the societies in which they live, work, and play,” said Vassallo. “Future topics could include financial health, environmental sustainability, First Nations culture and diversity, equity and inclusion.

“We have a responsibility as a leading independent agency to demonstrate that the future of work is more than just professional skill sets. Our ultimate goal is to leave everyone, including our team and broader network,  and everything else, in a better place than we found them,” Vassallo continued.

SOCIETY and its clients will have access to the Resident’s knowledge through in-person talks, Q&As, recorded sessions, and fortnightly topical emails.

Additionally, content from the SOCIETY Residents sessions will also be packaged into modules and available to the team via SOCIETY Academy (SOCIETY’s existing internal professional development program), to help further personal development aligned to individual goals.

SOCIETY is calling for additional Residents, and you can register your interest at hello@societymarcom.com.
