The Public Relations Institute of Australia (PRIA) announced Christopher Graves, Global Chairman of Ogilvy Public Relations (pictured) is bringing his ‘roller coaster ride of a session’ – Brain, Behaviour, Story – to Australia.
He will reveal how three historic accidents can teach us to become master storytellers at the PRIA National Conference ‘Communication Innovation’ in Sydney in November.
An award-winning top news executive for two decades, Graves leverages the curiosity inherited from his former career to communicate a completely new view of changing minds and effective persuasion.
Graves was recently honoured with a Rockefeller Foundation Bellagio Residency for his work in connecting neuroscience, behavioural science and narrative theory for more effective storytelling.
The PRIA conference brings together over 20 PR and Communication leaders, including Social Commentator, writer and lecturer Jane Caro; Director of Digital Network at the ABC, Angela Clark; CEO of the Climate Council, Amanda McKenzie – who will present on a range of topics from science communication to diversity in PR.
The conference is also a platform for learning about successful projects including Allison Lee, Director of Media and PR ant Destination NSW on how Vivid Sydney’s communications program translated into NSW visitation.
The two day conference (14-15 November) also combines the Golden Target Awards; celebrating the best of the best in PR and Communication.
