Award winning creatives join Miami Ad School Sydney teaching team in spring quarter.
Mathieu Abet, social media director at The Monkeys will introduce students to the use of social media for the purposes of brand building and communication in the class ‘Social Media’. Abet spent the past seven years specialising in all aspects of social media, spanning everything from strategy development and ideation to overseeing monitoring and analysis. Abet’s work has been recognised at Cannes, Clios, Effies, Facebook Studio Awards and more.
Craig Bailey, creative director at Rapp will share his skills in the class ‘Interactive Concepting’ where students learn to develop interactive ideas, create designs and copy for interactive campaigns, pitch projects to clients, master viral strategies and create finished interactive campaigns. Bailey is an integrated creative director working through-the-line with digital at its core. He has won awards at Cannes, D&AD, One Show, Webbys, B&T, AdNews, AIMIA, HOTSHOP AWARD, APMA and Caples among others.
Geoff Goddard, senior art director at The White Agency will provide an introduction to digital image processing and manipulation to incoming students. Goddard has won many awards including the IAB MIXX Award New York Gold, IAB Awards Australia Gold and Best in Show, ADMA Bronze Digital Direct and ADMA Silver Effectiveness
Mike Tosetto, motion director at Interbrand Australia will teach the fundamental aspects of the class ‘Motion Graphics’. Students will learn how to use animation production tools and create digital special effects. Tosetto’s specialties are 2D and 3D motion design as well as video editing. His work has been recognised by numerous award bodies including D&AD, Cannes and AGDA. He has also had animations featured on Motionographer and numerous popular Vimeo channels.
Simon Veksner, creative partner at DDB will help new students conceive ideas that can be communicated across the mediasphere and across ethnic, social and economic landscapes. Veksner is a highly awarded creative with five Cannes Lions, including one Grand Prix and two Gold Lions and two D&AD pencils.
Sydney copywriting students will join their US class-mates for the class ‘Wordsmithing’. It will be taught live out of the San Francisco Miami Ad School. Teacher Corey Rosenberg is a digital copywriter specialising in writing websites and marketing content for a lot of B2B tech giants, including: Google, FuzeBox, DocuSign, Lenovo, LinkedIn, and Demandbase.
The school’s spring quarter classes are starting this week and will conclude on 16 December.
