The Explainers Launches in London

Australian digital communications studio, The Explainers, has crossed the pond to launch in London.

The significant growth in online video over the past 12 months has seen a spike in demand for The Explainers’ high-quality explainer videos and the need to expand beyond Australian shores.

Mark Strong will head up the operation in the UK as head of business development.

Strong has an extensive background in digital media including senior roles with Foxtel, Network Ten and Massive Interactive.

“There is a huge appetite for online video as part of brands’ overall content marketing suite and it feels almost as though Australia is ahead of the curve.

“We’re talking to some multi-million pound brands who understand how important video has become in the marketing mix,” The Explainers managing director Matt Taylor said.

The Explainers already numbers among its clients Kinetic Super, Westpac, Telstra and BT Financial Group.

Taylor said there are further plans to expand the company in the next 12 months.
