Market Researchers will now be able to combine cutting-edge video data collection and analysis with existing feedback and research methods to deliver greater insights than ever before.

Confirmit has partnered with LivingLens, a pioneer in video intelligence software, to offer video capture and analysis within Confirmit Horizons for Market Research studies and  Voice of the Customer (VoC) and Voice of the Employee (VoE) programs.

The development comes in the wake of a recent study which found at least four times as much data is captured using video feedback compared to open ended text responses1, illustrating the value that video can bring.

Confirmit Product Management EVP Terry Lawlor said it has never been so vital for organisations to get closer to their customers or employees, and video offers real opportunities for capturing more engaging and timely feedback.

“With our partnership with LivingLens, we enable MR and CX professionals to harness the power of video,” Lawlor said. “Users will be able to gain an enhanced, qualitative and actionable view into the behaviour, attitude and opinions of respondents, customers and employees, on a global scale.”

The Confirmit/LivingLens solution integrates video feedback with other survey response data.

Webcam and mobile video capture is integrated into Confirmit Horizons by embedding video-based questions into MR, VoC or VoE surveys. Video responses are catalogued in LivingLens’ engaging and powerful video visualisation platform for tagging, transcribing, translating, and filtering the videos.

Users can quickly analyse the spoken word, actions, objects and sentiment, whatever the language.

Insights uncovered from this analysis lead to better understanding of behaviour, opinions, activities and trends, and insight stories can be shared as clips or show reels to bring results to life for more informed decision making.

“The benefit for research and insight teams is that they will be able to readily capture and analyse video feedback alongside other survey response data,” Lawlor said.

“Video is unparalleled in its ability to bring people, their opinions and subject matter to life, and the global reach and scale that LivingLens brings will enable organisations to better understand their customers from anywhere in the world, in any language.”

The Living Lens solution is available immediately.

“Our leading-edge technologies enable researchers and insight teams to use video at scale – across all languages – not just for faster, better storytelling, but also to turn it into a data asset in its own right,” said LivingLens CEO Carl Wong.

“We are excited that working in partnership with Confirmit will enable us to accelerate the value of video to insight professionals around the world.”
