Common Ventures has rebranded aged care service provider, Huon Regional Care, and created a TV commercial and series of long form video content.
Based in Southern Tasmania, Huon Regional Care offers a range of services for elderly Australians, including residential, in-home care, palliative care and respite care.
Independent Sydney agency Common Ventures were tasked with developing a new brand and visual identity for Huon Regional Care to better reflect its personal service and home care offering. This included a new logo, website, colour palette, style guide, signage, uniforms, pamphlets and sales collateral.
Flipping the connotation that aged care services can be complex, emotional and negative, Common Ventures repositioned the process as a ‘change for the better’, with a new butterfly logo representing that positive change in a simple and relatable way.
In addition, the agency created a 15 and 30-second TVC and three long form video content pieces using Huon Regional Care Home Care clients to share their stories of using its services.
Brian Merrifield, ECD at Common Ventures said: “Deciding on aged care service provision can be complicated, stressful and time consuming for many elderly people and their families. We’ve created a new brand identity for Huon Regional Care which has been designed to reflect that while this time can be one of uncertainty, it can also be one for positive change, which the butterfly motif so beautifully captures. For the commercial and content series, who better to highlight how Huon Regional Care can be a change for the better than those who use its services.”
Barry Lange, CEO at Huon Regional Care added: “Common Ventures have created a strong and clear brand for our business reflecting our broad range of services for elderly Tasmanians. We’re delighted with the result and will be rolling it out across the business in coming months.”
