Colliers International Finds Global CMO Internally

Real estate services Colliers International has announced the appointment of marketing executive Christine Schultz as the firm’s global chief marketing officer. Schultz will be responsible for driving the growth of the firm’s brand and thought leadership worldwide.

As the fastest growing, marketing centric commercial real estate organisation, this appointment emphasises Colliers’ focus on driving innovation and thought leadership beyond just real estate transactions by providing market insights and business solutions that give occupiers and investors a competitive advantage.

“Our people are the backbone of our business, and Christine has been instrumental to Colliers’ success story since she joined the company in 2010,” said Doug Frye, global president & CEO. “She is a stand-out leader and exemplifies Colliers values and culture. Her role in marketing the Colliers brand has been and will continue to be an asset as we raise our visibility internationally and continue to offer the best client experience in the business.”

In making this announcement, Colliers Global chief operating officer, Dylan Taylor, commented, “Christine has a proven track record in delivering results. She brings a level of experience and enterprising actions that further strengthen the diverse perspectives of our executive leadership team.”

Christine has more than 20 years of marketing and technical experience in both the B2B and B2C communities. She started her career in the government sector before moving into management consulting and now specializes in strategic positioning of professional services within the commercial real estate industry. Schultz has been heading Colliers’ global marketing and research, managing the brand, and leading marketing strategies worldwide. Notably, she played a central role in overseeing the national rollout of Colliers International’s renewed brand identity in April 2010.

“As a marketer, it’s a dynamic time in the commercial real estate industry and the possibilities for where we can take our thought leadership, client engagement and digital strategies are boundless,” said Schultz. “I look forward to continuing my work with our regional marketing leaders to shape the future.”
