Hot on the heels of the blockbuster Taika Waititi announcement, Cairns Crocodiles Presented by Pinterest has confirmed another global heavyweight, with advertising legend Sir Martin Sorrell joining the 2026 speaker line-up.

The founder and executive chairman of S4 Capital, and the man who built WPP into the world’s largest advertising and marketing services company, Sir Martin is regarded as one of the most influential figures across the media and marketing. His addition further cements Cairns Crocodiles as a must-attend global gathering for the industry’s biggest thinkers and boldest leaders.

“Sir Martin never fails to engage, challenge, and entertain audiences,” said Pippa Chambers, Cairns Crocodiles content director.

“His views are unapologetically bold, refreshingly honest, and he has a rare ability to cut through the noise and provoke the kinds of conversations that can move our industry forward. This latest announcement is something delegates should be super excited about.”

Sir Martin joins an already impressive roster including director and actor Taika Waititi, Paula Bloodworth, co-founder of Alien Baby, Jon Evans, creator and host of the Uncensored CMO Podcast, Morihiko Hasebe, global ECD at Hakuhodo, David Ohana CMO of United Nations Foundation, Molly Wright, the Thrive by Five TED Talk star whose global talk has reshaped how we think about human potential and development, creative sociologist Amy Kean, Gill Zhou, former IBM, Motorola & Condé Nast Leader- and more. See all speakers HERE.

Sir Martin’s appearance marks another major coup for the event, bringing one of marketing’s most outspoken and influential leaders to Far North Queensland for the landmark May 12–14 event.
