Cairns Crocodiles, presented by Pinterest, continues to build a world-class program with the addition of senior creative and marketing leaders from Japanese hotshop Hakuhodo, major telco One New Zealand and Aussie retail giant Bonds, reinforcing the event’s position as a global meeting point for the creative, brand and marketing industries.
Joining the speaker line-up and jetting in from Tokyo is Morihiko Hasebe, global executive creative director at Hakuhodo Inc.
With a career spanning nearly four decades, Hasebe began at Hakuhodo in 1986 as a copywriter and has since become one of Japan’s most respected creative leaders.
His work has been recognised across major domestic and global award shows, including ACC Grand Prix, ADC and Cannes Lions.
Beyond his commercial work, Hasebe is a regular jury member at leading international festivals and is also an accomplished independent film director whose debut feature film received international acclaim, including recognition at the Canada International Film Festival.
Also confirmed is Georgia Mahaffie, general manager of brand and marketing at One New Zealand.
Mahaffie joined Vodafone New Zealand in 2022 and led the organisation through one of the country’s most significant brand transformations, re-launching the business as One New Zealand.
Prior to moving client-side, she spent nine years at renowned global agency VCCP, spending time in its London, Seattle and New York offices. Her career spans work with some of the world’s most recognisable brands, including O2, T-Mobile, Google, Sonos, Virgin, Twitter and Transport for London, alongside agency roles at AMV and Clemenger BBDO.
Rounding out the new additions is Kedda Ghazarian, head of marketing at Bonds, one of Australia’s most iconic apparel brands.
Ghazarian brings more than 15 years’ experience across beauty and fashion retail marketing, with a reputation for brave, inclusive and culturally resonant communications. Starting her career in digital and social, she worked across some of Australia’s best-known brands before joining Bonds client-side.
Over the past decade, she has played a key role in shaping the brand’s modern marketing era and delivering some of its most talked-about campaigns.
Together, these speakers represent the intersection of global creativity, brand leadership and cultural influence that defines Cairns Crocodiles. Their addition further strengthens the 2026 program, offering attendees insight from leaders shaping brands and creativity across Asia-Pacific and beyond.
