Property platform BRICKX has announced new marketing hires from Domain Group and telco Amaysim to support its growth.
Asok Boopathy (pictured above) has stepped into the role of group director of product role at BRICKX, following two years as head of product at Domain. Boopathy has also previously worked at PayPal, Bigcommerce and Silicon Valley’s Flight Car.
Commenting on her appointment, Boopathy said: “Australians are incredibly passionate about real estate and getting on to the property market, so I’m thrilled to start at BRICKX.
“Everything I’ve learned in the conventional property sector will help BRICKX in shaping it anew.”
Jennifer Snell will be joining Boopathy at BRICKX as head of acquisition and customer marketing.
In the newly created role, Snell will be responsible for driving BRICKX’s growth strategy, as well as lead engagement and communications with customers.
Snell joins BRICKX from Amaysim, where she has held various roles since 2012.
Commenting on her appointment, Snell said: “I’m stoked to be joining the BRICKX team at a time of such momentum. As a marketer, it’s exciting to have the opportunity to help democratise access to property investment using a data-driven approach to growth.”
BRICKX chief marketing officer Andrew Balint, who joined the company from Amaysim in October last year, stressed the importance of hiring the right talent as the platform evolves.
“There is nothing else like BRICKX in the Australian market, so it requires adaptable, disruptive and inventive staff at its heart,” he said.
“We face unique challenges but also incredible opportunities to reinvent the conversation around property ownership in Australia. Asok and Jen will make great additions to the team as we step up our efforts to give every Australian a pathway to property.”
