Over 18 years experience in media, PR and content marketing in Australia and the United Kingdom. Career began as a journalist and producer working for various TV and radio networks including ABC News, PRIME News and SKY News Australia. Entered the world of PR upon moving to London in 2001, working for over four years for the UK’s leading broadcast specialist PR agency, helping develop and grow their TV news division, while overseeing large scale projects for clients in the FMCG, Technology, Travel and Tourism, Sponsorship and Corporate sectors. Key clients during this period included Virgin Atlantic, OZ, Vodafone, Roche, Kellogg's, British Gas and Help the Aged. Since returning to Australia in 2006, have worked for Australia's largest national PR agency (PPR) and the Australian office of one of the UK's leading consumer agencies (Frank PR) in senior leadership roles, managing large teams and leading the strategy and campaigns for global brands including Emirates, McDonald's, Bunnings, AGL, ALDI, IGA, Unilever, Microsoft, BlackBerry, Singapore Tourism Board, Reckitt Benckiser, South African Tourism and Hunter Douglas. Recently led the NSW Market operations for PPR Australia, focused on client service delivery and people management as well as content strategy and implementation across varied industry sectors as well as providing senior communications advice for leading global brands in the ANZ market including Emirates and McDonald's. Currently Head of PR, Sponsorships and Community for Woolworths. Extensive experience working for Airlines, National Tourism Organisations, Retail Branch Networks, FMCG, Consumer Technology, Home and Lifestyle brands and brand sponsorships. Experienced in the management of large teams (25+), including overseeing new business development and strategy, PNL reporting, budgets and financial reporting, recruitment, performance management and capacity planning.
