SILVERFOX MGMT is dedicated to representing models aged from 30 to 90+. Since their first open casting in April this year, the agency now represents over 55 models including some of the most in-demand older models globally – Yazemeenah Rossi, Pia Gronning, Anthony Varrechia and Garrett Swann.
The agency aims to champion an age-positive movement in Australia, celebrating captivating people who are their best at every age.
Globally, luxury and high street brands from Celine to Karen Walker, L’Oreal and American Apparel are reimagining how older models feature in campaigns and take a leading role. SILVERFOX MGMT Director, Brigitte Warne confirms the trend is headed our way, saying it’s not only good PR, it’s good business.
“We’ve seen the body-positive movement become mainstream, the age-positive movement is next,” Warne said.
“There’s a seemingly insatiable appetite for retailers to grow millennial appeal, while older consumers are largely ignored – despite our aged population increasing 20% since 2010. On top of raw demographics, older consumers are now more style aware and have more spending power than ever before.
“The mature age market is ripe for the taking in Australia – it’s a huge opportunity for brands. We saw a need for a dedicated source to find talent who represent these inspirational, influential but traditionally underserved consumers. From there SILVERFOX MGMT was born.”
