ADMA Appoints New Customer Experience Director

The Association for Data-driven Marketing and Advertising (ADMA) has announced Katherine Raskob has been appointed director, communications and customer experience.

Raskob brings to ADMA more than 15 years’ experience working for organisations where purpose and meaning are aligned with commercial imperatives. She brings a wealth of marketing and communications experience to ADMA as it continues its transformation into a customer-first, digital-led, globally oriented association.

Raskob’s experience encompasses both established and start-up, for profit and for purpose companies including the Sydney Symphony, Lesson Zone and Austrade. She also spent several years as Head of Group Marketing at SBS.

During her time with Australia’s national multilingual and multicultural broadcaster, she was responsible for all marketing communications for SBS programs and services. Her expertise is in strategic, integrated, multi-platform marketing to diverse audiences. While at SBS she managed large internal and external agency teams to achieve award-winning, highly effective campaigns that engaged audiences and stakeholders.

At ADMA, Raskob will report to CEO Jodie Sangster. She has responsibility for ADMA’s overall communications and customer experience strategy and execution, the ADMA brand, all internal and external communications including digital, social and PR.

“We’re delighted to have Katherine on board at ADMA. As the leading association in data-driven marketing it is essential to practice what we preach. Katherine has the skillset in marketing, content and digital to ensure we are setting the benchmark in data-driven marketing and delivering exceptional customer experience to our members and the broader industry. Her broad and deep consumer and business marketing acumen will really help us to continue our digital transformation and will assist us in driving our ambitious plans for growth,” said Sangster.

“Katherine was chosen in a competitive selection process from a strong field of external candidates. She is a talented marketer who is known for her collaborative leadership style which will be appreciated by the team,” she added.

Having grown up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA where she completed both a Bachelor’s Degree and an MBA, Raskob regularly returns to her home state to connect with family and friends. In her spare time, she contributes to community organisations in a voluntary capacity.

“ADMA is a dynamic, modern marketing association that is known for its quality member benefits, comprehensive education programs and amazing events. It is constantly re-inventing itself. For me, it is a fantastic time to be joining ADMA as it transforms digitally to meet the needs of marketers today.
