Sportsgirl Kicks Off Festive New Partnership With The Color Run

The Color Run – now the world’s single largest event series – is about to get even happier with the announcement of a landmark partnership with Aussie fashion brand Sportsgirl.

The partnership is a first of its kind for The Color Run and kicks off with the Tropicolor World Tour that will see 10 events across the country, with the first to be held at the Gold Coast on Sunday 17 July.

‘It is a fantastic fit for Sportsgirl and encourages people to get outdoors with friends and family and have a really great time,’ said Sportsgirl CEO Colleen Callander of the partnership.

Sportsgirl will be activating at all of the Tropicolor events with giveaways, prizes, Sportsboys, and nail artists, not to mention Sportsgirl’s synonymous brand colours being on show at the festival with dedicated ‘Sportsgirl Colour Throws’ that will see a culmination of red, blue, green, white and yellow.

“Events that encourage a healthy and happy lifestyle are certainly worth supporting and it made sense for us to get involved,” said Callander.

Aratis Events and The Color Run Australia general manager Luke Hannan added, “We are thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with such an iconic Australian brand like Sportsgirl.”

“The Color Run provides participants with the opportunity to ‘let their hair down for the day’, it promotes a healthy, active and most of all fun lifestyle and it is these elements that makes the synergy between Sportsgirl and The Color Run so strong.”

The Color Run is now into its fourth consecutive year in Australia and 2016 is proving the be the most exciting yet, with the launch of the Tropicolor World Tour and now this partnership with Sportsgirl.
