Sam Frost has broken her silence on her departure from Seven’s Home And Away and revealed that her exit has led to financial worries.

Frost has had a headline-making year and it’s not even March! Last year also wasn’t a quiet one for the former Bachelor star either when news broke that Frost would be leaving Seven’s long-running soap after she’d taken to Instagram to tearfully declare her un-vaccinated status.

Interestingly her stance conflicted with Seven’s mandatory jab policy for workers.

Naturally, when she announced her departure a few weeks later, rumours swirled. Was she leaving because she wouldn’t get the jab? or was she calling it quits to pursue other interests?

Frost stayed quiet but she has now taken to Instagram to shed some light on why she decided to leave. Frost shared a meme about how Australian Tennis champion Ash Barty took time off to focus on her mental health and accompanied the meme with her own story.

Frost wrote: “I quit my dream job at Home & Away to look after my mental health. I needed to take a step back, go home and be with my family. And most importantly take good care of my health and well-being.

“I now spend the days with the people I love, doing the things I’ve always wanted to do but couldn’t because I was too busy working.

“I spent 4.5 years being a distant friend, a distant girlfriend, a sister who couldn’t be there for big milestone moments.

“Now, I’m making up for the lost time. I’m prioritising my health and my relationships. Sometimes I wake up and panic about money, work and being able to afford my mortgage.. but then I remind myself of the importance of putting our mental health first, and taking time out to heal our mind, body & soul.

“The rest will fall into place.”

Basically, it seems like while Frost may be living her best life but she has bills like the rest of us!

Here at B&T, we’d say she should make the move to Neighbours considering it’s filmed in her hometown but even that future doesn’t look safe!
