Marketing leaders from Asahi Beverages, Bupa, REA Group, The Iconic, Latitude Financial, Medibank and Origin Energy have been named among the latest speakers for Mutinex’s Marketers & Money conference, returning to Melbourne this November.
More than 20 speakers are now confirmed for the two-day event, joining previously announced speakers including Ehrenberg-Bass Institute professor Byron Sharp and Omnicom Oceania CEO Nick Garrett.
The conference, held on 17 and 18 November at Melbourne’s Showtime Events Centre, will be split into two distinct days, with the inaugural Agency Day kicking things off before Brand Day turns the focus to marketers on the client side.
Day one will examine how the agency-client relationship is changing as both sides move towards shared commercial outcomes, with sessions exploring agency remuneration, measurement and the role of data in delivering better results.
TrinityP3 founder and CEO Darren Woolley will discuss how agencies are being selected and paid, alongside Thinkerbell co-founder Adam Ferrier, Belong’s Josh Bailey, OMD’s Camilla Wallace, Hatched’s Andrew Pascoe and News Corp Australia’s Jess Gilby.
Former MMA Global chief strategy officer Lou Paskalis will also sit down with Marketers & Money executive editor Paul McIntyre for a fireside chat.
Garrett will close the day alongside Mutinex CEO Henry Innis, discussing the rebuilding of Omnicom around better outcomes.
Day two, Brand Day, will turn to how marketers can demonstrate the commercial value of brand investment and make the case for marketing budgets to the wider business.
Sharp will open proceedings with a keynote examining why marketing measurement needs to be standardised and scaled.
Mutinex will also use the conference to launch the next chapter of its GrowthOS market mix modelling platform, with Asahi Beverages named as its design partner.
Asahi Beverages’ Jarrod Holt, News Corp’s Lou Barrett and Tracksuit CEO and co-founder Connor Archbold will join Innis to discuss what the Outcomes Era has delivered for their businesses.
Other sessions will include Bupa’s Naomi Driver, 2045’s Tim Evans and Atomic 212’s Rory Heffernan exploring how brand can unite an enterprise and unlock commercial growth.
REA Group’s Bec Lemon, The Iconic’s Krista Wright and Latitude Financial’s Brett Smith will discuss translating measurement into decisions that finance teams can support.
Meanwhile, broadcaster and former adman Russel Howcroft will moderate a conversation on bold creative with Medibank’s Laura Henry and Origin Energy’s Sarah Kutrolli.
Innis said the speaker line-up was built around marketers and agency leaders who have had to demonstrate the returns on their decisions.
“Every speaker on this programme has had to defend a marketing decision with evidence, whether to a client, a CFO or a board,” he said.
“Day one is about agencies using better data to get better outcomes for everyone. Day two is about brand earning its place as an investment the whole business backs. Both come down to the same question: what did the money return?”
Launched in Sydney in 2024, Marketers & Money has previously featured Mark Ritson, Domino’s Pizza Enterprises CEO Don Meij, Telstra CMO Brent Smart, Asahi Beverages chief growth officer Brian Phan, TPG Telecom Group CMO Bec Darley and Nine CMO Liana Dubois.
Attendance at the 2026 conference is free but strictly by invitation, with remaining invitations limited. Registrations are open now, with additional capacity added for Brand Day.
The closing keynote and remaining speakers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
