Movember Hires Ogilvy As PR Agency Of Record

Movember, the global charity changing the face of men’s health, has appointed Ogilvy as its PR agency of record following a competitive pitch.

The partnership will see Ogilvy PR drive Movember’s media presence in Australia through targeted earned media and creative campaigns, influencer engagement, and strategic communications activity designed to deepen awareness of men’s health issues, and grow participation in the annual Movember campaign.

Movember was started in Australia in 2003, by two friends and just 30 ‘Mo Bros’ (someone who grows a moustache during the month of November to raise funds and awareness). Since then, it has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo, shaking up men’s health research and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

With 2026 shaping up to be a landmark year for Movember, the organisation is focused on expanding its reach and deepening its impact across men’s health. From mental health to suicide prevention and prostate and testicular cancer, Movember continues to fund critical research and life-changing programmes around the world.

James Curtis, Ogilvy’s head of consumer PR and influence, said: ”Movember holds a deeply personal significance for me. As a Mo Bro of 13 years, it is a cause I have championed for a long time and one that sits close to my heart.
