Digital healthcare provider clinic Doccy has launched a new brand identity created by indie agency Hellions, bringing to life the startup’s focus on patient-first, digitally enabled healthcare — delivered in a way that adapts to people’s needs, not an antiquated system’s.
The fresh identity gives Doccy a bold, bright and unmistakably human presence as it continues to grow its outcome-focused digital healthcare model across Australia. The work spans brand strategy, visual identity, tone of voice, website, social templates and digital advertising.
At the heart of the identity is fluidity and flexibility, with gradients and shapes inspired by cellular division. Using the building blocks of the human body as a basis for a connected visual system, the evolved identity and tone of voice make healthcare accessible, human and anything but sterile. The result is a brand that feels credible enough for clinical care, while being warm enough to connect with the people it’s built for.
”Getting informed answers from a doctor should be the easiest part of getting sick. Doccy’s ambition is simple: set the standard in what digitally enabled healthcare’s is capable of, without compromising on care or continuity,” said Louis Sisk, founder and CEO of Doccy.
“We’ve built Doccy to be simple, fast, trustworthy and centred around delivering patient outcomes. The brand identity represents that promise, but it also gives us the foundations to evolve as we realise our product roadmap.”
The new website is designed to reflect the patient-centricity of the Doccy model, encompassing the entire product experience from research and booking through to the AI-enabled pre-consult, connecting with a doctor and meaningful follow up.
“If you look at how our bodies heal themselves and function at a cellular level, it’s complex and precise but appears seamless, beautiful and intuitive. That’s the Doccy experience in a nutshell,” said Daniel Sparkes, creative partner at Hellions.
“Every element of the brand is a representation of patient-first healthcare. The stethoscope ‘y’, the cellular shapes, the energetic palette and the tone of voice, all work together to make Doccy feel like a brand that recognises its responsibility as a healthcare company, and showcases its commitment to helping patients on their terms.”
The new Doccy identity is now rolling out across website, social, digital advertising and the product experience.
