Monday TV Wrap: Nine Arrests Viewers As It Brings Back Gold Coast Cops

Nine’s brought Gold Coast Cops back to Aussies’ screens, debuting to a modest audience of 416,000, according to OZTAM metro data.

Narrated by Samuel Johnson, Gold Coast Cops was once owned by 10, yet rights to the series transferred to Nine this month.

Meanwhile, 10’s Have You Been Paying Attention did a decent 617,000, while Seven’s SAS won the night in entertainment with 676,000.

In the battle of the primary channel share, Nine won (just) with 19.7 per cent, Seven came in with 19.6 per cent, ABC did 14.9 per cent, Seven did 16.5 per cent, 10 did 13.6 per cent, and SBS did 4.1 per cent.

News did 899,000, ACA did 666,000, and Hot Seat did 449,000.

ABC

News did 735,000, 7.30 did 610,000, Media Watch did 455,000, Australian Story did 601,000 and In the Face of Terror did 389,000.

Seven

News did 959,000, Home and Away did 566,000, The Chase did 487,000, and The Rookie did 329,000.

The Project did 480,000, while a showing of Barack Obama: The Interview did 470,000.
