Independent video content agency Bohdee has appointed Cody Pearson as head of partnerships.
Most recently the head of the News Corp-owned Suddenly, Pearson will oversee the launch of a new responsible media platform being developed by television producer Adam Boland.
The platform will house content verified by an independent panel, meeting the needs of both audiences and brands.
“It’s such an exciting time to be joining Adam and the team at Bohdee,” said Pearson. “The business model has a strong, values-driven purpose to hero Australia’s leading innovators, scientists, and corporates in the environmental and sustainability sectors who are genuinely making a difference.”
Bohdee has built a solid reputation producing fact-checked video content for clients including the Australian Academy of Science and DFAT’s National Foundation for Australia-China Relations.
“The next step in our journey is creating a dedicated audience-facing platform for authentic stories about the world of tomorrow. I’ve never felt meaningful content needs to be boring,” said Adam Boland. “I think we’ve perfected a unique offering that overcomes some of the current challenges in the space. Cody is the right person to take that to market.”
