Let’s be honest, Super Bowl 60 was a bit of a borefest unless you really like grid iron or live in Seattle, but the half time entertainments (where some Puerto Rican bloke called Bad Bunny upset Trump) and the ads certainly didn’t disappoint.
In true B&T style, we are selecting those that we found great (and funny), so there are no Budweiser Clydesdales among this list.
Dunkin, ‘Good Will Dunkin’, Artists Equity
‘Good Will Dunkin’ plays like a ’90s sitcom pilot that somehow got lost in a VHS vault. Complete with sitcom stars and coffee‑fueled math geniuses delivering punchlines like they’re reading off someone’s old notebook. It’s nostalgic, pop‑culture, clever caffeine mashup makes viewers wonder if they accidentally tuned into three shows all at once.
Squarespace, ‘Unavailable’, In-house
Squarespace’s Super Bowl spot turns the existential agony of a taken domain into an art‑house drama worthy of a Shakespearean tragedy. Set in a moody, black‑and‑white world with Emma Stone smashing laptops on every corner, because nothing says Super Bowl extravaganza like digital identity meltdown.
Instacart, ‘Bananas’, BBDO & McCann
Glitter jumpsuits meet synth vocals and Ben Stiller falling off stage. It’s less about fruit and more about proving that even banana ripeness can be dramatic when set to intense rivalry and retro tunes.
Pepsi Zero Sugar, ‘The Choice’ BBDO
A blind taste test sends the iconic cola bear into a full blown identity crisis set to Queen. Meanwhile, Bundy R. popped up down under claiming all his embattled friend really wanted was a bundy and coke.
Levi’s, ‘Backstory’ TBWA\Chiat\Day\LA
From animated cowboys to Grammy winning artists, Levi’s proves that the best way to tell a backstory is… well, from the back.
Anthropic, ‘Can I Get a Six-Pack Quickly’, Mother
The AI ad that doubles as a cheeky jab to Anthropic’s chatbot rival. All’s fair in ads and AI wars.
Liquid I.V., ‘Take a Look’, Anomaly
Liquid I.V. sent out a hydration PSA mid game. Yeah, it was unexpected, absurd and borderline gross but I bet most of the stadium walked out humming calssic Phil Collins hit ‘Againast All Odds’.
Uber Eats, ‘Hungry for the Truth’, Special US
Matthew McConaughey insists in this spot that every football reference has something to do with food (much to Bradley Cooper’s chagrin), a clever trick to get hungry fans watching the big game to order in.
T-Mobile, Tell ME Why’, Panay Films
This spot remixes the Backstreet Boys’ classic ‘Tell Me Why’ anthem to promote T-Mobile’s benefits, while the crowd cheers and cries from joy.
Bud Light, ‘Keg’, Anomaly
In this hilarious spot, Peyton Manning, Shane Gillis and Post Malone can be seen chasing a Bud Light keg down a hill in an attempt to save it so there’s enough to go around for everyone at the wedding they’re at.
