Seven’s Farmer Wants A Wife reclaimed its place as top entertainment program, pulling a Total TV National Reach of 1,994,000 and an average audience of 979,000.
Natalie Gruzlewski brought the farmers and their ladies together for the Annual Dugong Country Fair. One farmer came clean to the group about a prior connection with his intruder, a secret that, unbeknownst to him, had already made its way to his original lady.
Across the fair, the women did some bonding of their own, with tension simmering between the original ladies and the intruders.
SBS’s 2026 FIFA World Cup coverage dominated the rest of the top 10. Jordan v Argentina Live ranked fifth with a national reach 1,705,000 and an average audience of 788,000, as Argentina won 3-1. Colombia v Portugal Live came sixth with a national reach of 1,633,000 and an average audience of 860,000 in a 0-0 draw. Panama v England placed eighth with a national reach of 1,277,000 and an average audience of 496,000 as England won 2-0.
Nine’s new program, The Long Run, followed Lance Franklin and Johnathan Thurston as they mentored Indigenous Marathon Project runners toward the New York City Marathon. It landed ninth with a national reach of 1,193,000 and an average audience of 391,000 average.
Back on Seven, MasterChef Australia‘s Knockout Week kicked off with the “Twins” challenge, inspired by alumni Sarah Todd and Declan Cleary’s twin daughters. The remaining contestants were paired up and tasked with creating perfectly matching dishes while communicating across a dividing wall. Casper and Emily were ranked the bottom dish, sending them straight into elimination. The episode landed in twelfth with a national reach of 1,061,000 an average audience of 615,000.
ABC’s Race Around The World came in seventeenth with a national reach of 895,000 and an average audience of 440,000.
As expected, SBS scored big on Saturday with its 2026 FIFA World Cup coverage. The New Zealand v Belgium match saw Belgium dominate, 5-1 for a win everyone saw coming.

The 0-0 result meant Australia has advanced into Round 32. It boasted a national reach of 4,844,000 and an average audience of 3,086,000. The pre and post match coverage rounded out the top three.
