VaynerMedia has appointed WPP Media exec Mark Turner as its new head of media for Asia Pacific.
In his new role, Turner will be responsible for managing and scaling the agency’s media practice across the region, overseeing high-level operations management, media executional excellence, and client partnerships.
Working cohesively with cross-departmental teams spanning creative, strategy and analytics, Turner will spearhead insights-driven, omnichannel media strategies across both large-scale biddable digital platforms and offline media to drive tangible business outcomes for VaynerMedia’s brand partners.
Based in Singapore and reporting to VaynerMedia APAC’s MD, Tim Lindley, Turner brings with him a decade of media agency experience and a proven track record of executing sophisticated, large-scale performance programs across the APAC and EMEA regions.

Prior to joining VaynerMedia, Turner was the VP of affiliate and partnerships, APMEA at WPP Media, a position he held for over two years. His extensive career across Singapore and London includes three years as MD of Neo Media World Singapore, an autonomous full-scale digital media agency under GroupM, where he served clients in markets across Asia. He was concurrently the head of affiliate, APAC for Neo Media World.
Turner initially moved to Singapore to open the APAC business at Tradedoubler, where he held positions as the business development and client services director, APAC.
Across Turner’s career, he has worked with clients such as Disney+, Microsoft, Apple, Emirates, Malaysian Airlines, Expedia, Adyen, Essilor, Purina, The Body Shop, Adidas, Uber and Nespresso.
