Brisbane-based marketing agency TwentyTwo Digital has announced a new executive leadership structure, with Ashton Tuckerman appointed managing director, taking over from founder Sarah Pelecanos as she steps back to focus on strategic projects.
The leadership transition follows a standout FY26 for the agency, with revenue growing 32 per cent year-on-year, a series of client wins across healthcare, not-for-profit, retail and professional services and investment in senior talent.
TwentyTwo Digital has also welcomed Holly Grindrod as its first-ever head of client services.
Grindrod has joined from Brisbane agency Media Merchants, where she led client relationships for brands including Amart, Zarraffa’s Coffee, Good Price Pharmacy Warehouse, Great Southern Bank and BSR Group.
The executive leadership team has also expanded with head of digital Mikayla Nicol formally joining the agency’s executive leadership team alongside Tuckerman and Pelecanos.
“We’ve been intentionally building a business that isn’t reliant on any one person, and our new leadership structure reflects that work,” says Ms Tuckerman. “It gives us the capacity to keep growing without compromising the quality of thinking or service our clients have come to expect from us,” said Tuckerman.
“Our growth hasn’t happened by accident: it’s come from investing in great people and creating an environment where talented people can do their best work. Holly and Mikayla are a huge part of this next chapter and continuing to build the kind of workplace people are actually excited to come into on a Monday morning.”.
“One of the most rewarding parts of building a business is creating opportunities for others to step up,” said Pelecanos.
“Ashton has played a pivotal role in TwentyTwo’s growth over the past two years, helping shape the business into what it is today. This appointment recognises both the impact she’s already had and where we’re heading next.”
