The ABC had another strong Thursday evening last night as Redesign My Brain with Todd Sampson retained its foothold in the top 10.
Redesign My Brain sat in ninth place last night with an audience of 764,000 viewers, according to OzTam’s preliminary metro ratings.
In the entertainment stakes it came third to Seven’s Home and Away (856,000) and Nine’s Big Brother (796,000).
Ten made it into the top 10 most watched shows with Law & Order: SVU sitting in 10th with 719,000 viewers.
Ten had four other programs in the top 20 including Jamie’s Food Fight Club (528,000), The Project (457,000) and The Bold and the Beautiful (455,000).
Ten sat on a total share of 17.4% with 12.3% going to the network’s primary channel. Ten came third behind the ABC which won 15% for ABC1 and 22.2% in total.
As bushfires raged across NSW news programs proved the most popular.
There were programming shuffles with Seven cutting Today Tonight in Sydney in favour of extended news bulletin while A Current Affair on Nine was pushed back.
Nine News won the news war taking 1.125 million viewers in total and 417,000 from Sydney.
Seven News was in second place with 1.079 million and 323,000 Sydney viewers.
ABC News took a total audience of 953,000 with 321,000 from Sydney while Ten Eyewitness News won over 644,000 people including 208,000 Sydneysiders.
Nine won the night overall, taking a 28.9% share with 19.4% for its main channel. Seven sat on 25.6% with 19% going to its primary channel.
SBS won 5.9% in total with 5.1% going to SBS One.
