Han was seen hiding out in the caravan, having a sulk. She refused to come out to talk to Foreman Dan, deciding instead to discuss the plans over the phone.
Realising how strapped for cash Han and Can are this week, Dan was surprised to hear that Han was still considering rendering the walls of her pool cabana. The Blockheads have seen Han making a rod for her own back many times now, fixating on minor details at the expense of the big picture.
Also on Nine, A Current Affair detailed an angry battle brewing between fierce locals and fast food chain giant McDonald’s.
McDonald’s is muscling in and setting up shop nearby on Marrickville Road, where the pork roll reigns supreme.
The Marrickville Pork Roll has won hearts, stomachs, and wallets at less than $10 for years.
Now, McDonald’s is setting up shop on the same road. The burger giant’s new store is not open yet, but locals are already making their feelings clear.
Some say they’re not lovin’ it, fearing the golden arches will ruin the suburb’s vibe, while a number of restaurant owners feel making ends meet is already a struggle.
“It’s something that is not going to fit with what Marrickville is, that’s the truth,” one business owner said.
Others don’t really mind as long as McDonald’s sticks to its usual menu.
The burger behemoth plans to serve up more, with up to 50 opening in the next year.
Over on Seven, Home and Away brought in a Total TV National Reach of 1,316,000.
Over on Channel 10, Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia raked in a Total TV National Reach of 576,000.
ABC‘s 7.30 brought in a Total TV National Reach of 1,176,000 and a Total TV National Average Audience of 714,000.
