A rogue airborne sausage kicked off another night of ratings dominance for Scotty Cam and Blockheads on Nine’s The Block.

The popular DIY program is in Blockpocalypse week, where contestants have five rooms to complete per house and “very few brain cells left to help them do it”, according to Nine’s website.

If that suspense isn’t enough, it’s Sonny and Alicia’s 10th wedding anniversary, and he surprises her with a big bouquet of flowers; a move so romantic that B&T had images of Don Juan in high vis on a 17th century construction site.

Such drama attracted 2.2 million Aussies with an average audience of 1.2 million.

This beat Seven’s My Kitchen Rules, which reached 1.45 million and posted an average audience of 966,000.

Nine’s Clarkson Farm, which follows The Block, also posted good numbers with a reach of 1.45 million and an average audience of 525,000.
