Tom Gleeson Likens Todd Sampson To A Prostitute On ‘Hard Chat’

Advertising commentator Todd Sampson has faced a grilling on the latest episode of Tom Gleeson’s ‘Hard Chat’.

The satirical interview segment, part of Charlie Pickering’s The Weekly on ABC, has recently attracted the likes of Em Rusciano and Andrew Denton, and never shies away from controversial topics.

Focusing on his background in advertising, Gleeson interrogated the Canadian-born TV personality, asking whether Sampson moving from advertising to the ABC was like “being a prostitute in a convent”.

At one point Sampson told Gleeson the interview was like taking “a cheese grater to my ego,” to which Gleeson responded, “You should sprinkle it over Russell Howcroft’s meal”.

Gleeson then took aim at Sampson’s show Body Hack claiming Sampson should not be excited about Channel Ten renewing the show for a second season, given the network also renewed The Biggest Loser.

Sampson happily took every joke on the chin and laughed throughout.
